Please join us in congratulating ASW Faculty member Kathryn Takabvirwa for receiving an ACLS Fellowship for her project, “Citizens in Uniform: Policing Everyday Life in Zimbabwe”.
Professor Takabvirwa is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology and of Social Sciences in the College at the University of Chicago. Her research centers on policing, citizenship, migration and mobility, governance, and the state in Southern Africa.
